everything went fine it rebooted and booted into xp x32 (I have slipstreamed my SATA driver and .net framework x32) everything was looking up. I then added XP 64 to the boot entry with 'Easy BCD' and restarted. I NEED to adjust that file. He asked me to install windows XP 32 bit on his laptop which already had Windows 7 home 64bit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This has 2 partitions (200G for XP Pro 64bit and the rest for Vista Business 32bit)2. I'm guessing that's wrong? When mine boots I can hit the F8 key during boot and the option to boot menu appears. Rebooted, still only booted into XP. I then tried to boot to Vista via DVD and it said something like 'Problem loading Windows, please repair the installation using the Vista DVD'... The 2nd drive would be a bonus. have a peek at these guys If so how do I change it?Thanks.

When I boot normally with XP 64, Vista is Drive H and when I boot from Vista (with Vista DVD), XP 64 is drive D. XP 64 now booted up as default with no boot loader... Join the community here.

Anyways... Afterwards restart your computer and you should be presented with the Vista boot loader, where Vista is the default OS. on the 2nd drive, I don?t know if I need to? check my blog There is even an "edit" button.

I own a Windows 7 professional x64 cd and license which I used as my laptop did not come with cds. No such luck in WIN7. XP boots up as default which is what I want for the time being but I cannot boot to Vista.
