My computer sees it (via the USB cradle or IR), but I keep getting an error that no phone is connected. As a software engineer for over twenty years he has been with a number of software companies and has worked on more than fifteen operating systems, developing software ranging from enterprise  I then switched off my phone while still connected to the PC and then I turned it on again. I clicked on the P900 icon on the desktop but it showed that the phone was not connected and I couldn't install any software into my p900 as well as it

I have tried everything. The time now is 01:09 PM. computer USB hardware ( socket ) working alright? ( use other usb device to test ) try it out !! ^_^ hope it helps........ I right-clicked on it and clicked on properties, it showed the phone to be connected on USB COM4 and there was a tick beside it.

Finally, a phone that can replace my iPaq. I did as suggested and turn off my firewall and bingo it works, Thanks. Please help!!! in Control Panel, Connection, Cable, check that it's put on PC Connect NOT Modem __________________ being HANDY all the time hAnDyGUY View Public Profile Find all posts by hAnDyGUY #12

If you have a firewall that does not allow it, you will get results described above. Please try the request again. Is there a way of configuring th firewall to work or will this defeat the object of the firewall??? You need to manually do this. By default there was 1 day old messages but my messages were older. check over here Any ideas?

and LOVE the P800!!! Then I found out that the driver for the cradle had not been loaded when you install the PC Suit. I dont have any firewall installed and every thing is exactly as suggested by the forum people. The next problem was with driver.
