Print Spooler Keeps Shunting Off-Won't Open
I thought I would have to completely reinstall Windows and everything else on my computer. I've tried so many things listed on numerous web sites. I went to the C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS directory BUT it wouldn't let me delete the files (thoughI didn't unplug the printer because it's really hard to get to). I save the about command in a batch file and schedule a task to run it everytime I log on. del /Q C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS\*.* > Press Enter 7. Locate Subsequent failures setting and set it to Restart the Service. Thanks again for your help!

When I set the spooler service to manual, the spooler service stops when I open Devices and Printers, and restarts as soon as I close it. I am not sure if the path is a part of Windows system files or it is a part of any related printer drivers. any thoughts? After reading previous posts I reset theIE advanced settings( internet explores >> Tools>> Settings>> Advanced tab >>and reset settings >> This process automaticaly started the print spooler and everything is working
