Power Supply Is Loud When Gaming

I know on some games I have a slight high pitch noise I can hear and I'm pretty sure it's a cap going bad on something in the case. I called best buy, they said they would send it out for around 4-8 weeks because I didn't purchase the extended warrenty, which I'd rather just buy another PSU. The quality of a PSU is paramount to ensure the system runs stable and also can handle any transients, they need to be efficient too. Sounds like coil whine to me. So it's important to try to rule out the motherboard and graphics card if possible.
