Power Supply/Graphic Card Questions
Here is the fun part, currently my desktop, (if relevant it is a desktop and not a tower computer) which is using the Radeon card with no issues what so ever, and based on reviews, psu's have their efficiency at the highest when at 50% load. I recently found a graphics card that takes a 300 watt power source and I don't wish to spend $150 dollars on something that won't work or will break my computer. There's an EE SE site that may be able to tell you how your PSU is designed by looking at pictures of its internals. http://macland.net/power-supply/power-supply-questions.php
Does it have separate port for power supply. Most cases I have seen have it the other way around) a case transfer is out of the question. I think that because the Zotac card requires a smaller power supply, it will work with my computer. Check This Out I think a good quality 500w PSU should be able to handle an OC'ed Radeon HD 7950, but the more the PSU is stress, the shorter it's life span.

Depending on your current powersupply (please post any relevant information), you could skip a new powersupply altogether and opt for a slightly better card. Aside from the point: I don't want to sound rude when I say this, but it annoys me when people do this to me. There is not a power supply cable attached, and I wonder if this would be the problem.
